28th Street South Complete Streets Project:
On the week of July 8, construction will start on the 28th Street South Complete Streets improvements project. Work will start at Site 3, at the intersection of 28th Street South and the southwest corner of Gunston Park and is expected to last about two weeks before moving to Site 2. The eastbound bus stop will close during construction, Reg ID 6000073; passengers should use the next stop 300 feet before this stop, Reg Id 6000077.

Central to business, shopping, and eats, this station is the first stop in Virginia for Orange, Silver, and Blue Line trains and is a major stop for Metrobus Route 5A to Dulles International Airport. An Arlington County Commuter Store is also at the entrance of this station.
