It's Here! Launch of the Service Performance Data Dashboard!

On April 3rd, 2023, Arlington Transit (ART) launched a comprehensive data dashboard accessible via ART’s website. The Arlington Transit Data Dashboard is an interactive tool that visualizes six Arlington Transit service performance metrics to illustrate the quality, effectiveness, and reliability of Arlington Transit’s service through data.

The dashboard can be found by navigating to ART’s homepage, Arlingtontransit.com,under the “About ART” section. By clicking on “ART Service Performance Dashboard”, users will see the six metrics, updated monthly. These metrics include ART Systemwide Ridership, Route-level Ridership, Service Efficiency, On-time Performance, Miles between Road Calls, and STAR Ridership. Users can explore trends by selecting years and routes of interest within each tab.  

ART is also working on adding additional resources in the weeks following the rollout of the Service Performance Dashboard. Service performance metrics will continue to be posted in the About ART section under the “Monthly Service & Ridership Reports” on the ART website. ART will also be adding STAR performance data to the Monthly Reports & Ridership Report page on May 9th 2023.

Arlington Transit plans to continue to add to the Service Performance Dashboard and would like to hear your thoughts. Please leave feedback and suggestions by navigating to ART’s “Contact” section and selecting “Other Questions and Comments” in the drop-down menu.
