Arlington Transit Celebrates National Transit Driver Appreciation Day

Arlington Transit (ART) is proud to celebrate National Transit Driver Appreciation Day on March 18, 2025, to honor our bus operators’ dedication and hard work. This day provides an opportunity for ART to acknowledge the essential role our drivers play in keeping Arlington connected and moving.

To mark the occasion, ART will host a special event at the Arlington Operations and Maintenance Facility (AOMF), where bus operators will be treated to various food, snacks, and drinks. There will be swag bags filled with small tokens of appreciation and special giveaways to celebrate the day.

National Transit Driver Appreciation Day serves as a reminder of the invaluable contributions of our bus operators, whose efforts ensure reliable and safe transportation for the Arlington community.
