Weekend Adventures with ART -- Dec. 7 - 8

Looking to get out of the house and do some fun activities this weekend? Let the ART bus be your ride! ART  414245515577 and 87 all provide weekend service. Here are some weekend events taking place and the ART routes that can get you there:

 

Holiday Kick-Off at Ballston QuarterDec. 7 at Ballston Quarter Mall

Venture through all four levels of Ballston Quarter for a holiday surprise around every corner. From holiday movies, to crafts (for all ages), to photo ops, and of course a special appearance from Santa, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Washington-Liberty HS Holiday Bazaar – Dec. 7 at W-L High School

Over 70 local artisans will be selling handcrafted and other gift items. Enjoy homemade multi-ethnic food while you shop. Take home baked goods, a holiday wreath, or a poinsettia plant. Live musical performances by the WL Chamber Choir and other school musical groups. Event is 10 am – 4 pm.

Blankets for Project LinusDec. 7 at Columbia Pike Branch Library

Give back this holiday season by helping to create no-sew fleece blankets for Project Linus. Project Linus is a nonprofit organization that provides homemade blankets for children in hospital and shelters.

Frost Fest – Dec. 8 at Pentagon Row

Kick off the holiday season this year with Arlington’s favorite winter festival – Frost Fest! The festival is 4-7pm and features ice skating, live music, an on-ice fireworks display, giveaways and more. There’s snow place like The Row!
