South Four Mile Run Drive Complete Street Project:
The South Four Mile Run Drive Project is advancing to begin work on the north side of the intersection with Shirlington Rd. Work will begin the week of October 28 and will last for 4-6 weeks. The west bound bus stop will be closed. Customers can board ART service (Route 75) at the next nearest bus stop.

Looking for some fun activities this summer? Here’s a list of events taking place in Arlington and the ART bus routes that can take you there! Taking ART is an easy way to get around Arlington and you don’t have to worry about finding a parking spot. Plus, when you use a SmarTrip card, you get free transfers between buses within a 2-hour time period. So you can take ART to the farmers market and then hop back on to go home (or somewhere else) for free! Grab your SmarTrip card, sunscreen and walking shoes and get ready for some summer fun!
Farmers Markets
This season, Arlington has 10 farmers markets taking place throughout the week. Here are the ones you can get to by ART bus:
Arlington Farmers Market – Saturdays, 8 am – noon at 1401 N Courthouse Rd. Take ART 41, 45, 77
Arlington Mill Farmers Market – Saturdays, 9 am – 1 pm at Arlington Mill Community Center, 909 S Dinwiddie St. Take ART 41, 45
Ballston Farmers Market – Thursdays, 3 pm – 7 pm at Welburn Square across from the Ballston metro. Take ART 42, 72, 53, 62
Pike Park Farmers Market – Sundays, 9 am – 1 pm at Pike Park, 2820 Columbia Pike. Take ART 45
