Detours on October 27 for Marine Corps Marathon

On Sunday, October 27, the ART 45 and 55 routes will be detoured due to the Marine Corps Marathon. The detours will last from the start of service for each route until 6:00 pm, unless otherwise noted. The ART 45 and 55 bus stops at the Rosslyn Metro station will be relocated to N. Oak St., south of Key Blvd. A temporary bus stop pole and flag will be at this location. See below for the detour for each route.
ART 45 Detours
ART 45 Northbound to Rosslyn
Start of service to 6:00 pm
Buses will operate the regular route to Clarendon Blvd and N Oak St and then go to the temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located on N Oak St., south of Key Blvd.
Last stop served before detour: Clarendon Blvd @ N Pierce St
First stop served after detour: Wilson Blvd @ N Quinn St
Stops not served during detour: N Nash St @ Wilson Blvd
ART 45 Southbound to Columbia Pike
Start of Service to 6:00 pm
Buses begin detouring after the temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located on N Oak St, south of Key Blvd. The regular route resumes on Wilson Blvd at N Quinn St.
Last stop served before detour: Temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop on N Oak St, south of Key Blvd.
First stop served after detour: Wilson Blvd @ N Quinn St
Stops not served during detour: N Nash St @ Wilson Blvd
ART 55 Detours
ART 55 westbound to East Falls Church will have one detour from the start of service until 6:00 pm. ART 55 eastbound to Rosslyn will have one detour from the start of service until 12:00 pm and a different detour from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
All buses that stop at the Rosslyn Metro station, including ART 55, will be moved two blocks to N Oak St., south of Key Blvd.
ART 55 Westbound to East Falls Church
Start of service until 12:00 pm
The route will start at the temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located on N Oak St, south of Key Blvd. and then start the detour. All westbound bus stops on Lee Highway between the Rosslyn Metro station and N Scott St will not be served. The regular route will resume on Lee Highway after N Scott St.
Last stop served before detour: Temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located on N Oak St., south of Key Blvd.
First stop served after detour: Lee Hwy @ N Vance St
Stops not served during detour: All westbound bus stops on Lee Highway between the Rosslyn Metro station and N Scott Street
ART 55 Eastbound to Rosslyn
Start of Service until 12:00 pm
Buses begin detouring at Lee Highway and N Quincy Street and will take Washington Blvd and Clarendon Blvd to the temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located on N Oak St, south of Key Blvd. All eastbound bus stops on Lee Highway between N Quincy St and the Rosslyn Metro station will not be served.

First stop served after detour: Temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located on N Oak St, south of Key Blvd.
Stops not served during detour: All eastbound bus stops on Lee Highway between N Quincy Street and the Rosslyn Metro station
NOTE: Buses will serve bus stops along Washington Blvd and Clarendon Blvd from N. Nelson Street to N. Pierce Street.
12:00 pm until 6:00 pm
Buses begin detouring on Lee Highway at N Veitch Street and will take Clarendon Blvd to the temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located on N. Oak St., south of Key Blvd.

First stop served after detour: Temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located on N. Oak St., south of Key Blvd
Stops not served during detour: Lee Hwy @ N Veitch St, Lee Hwy @ N Rhodes St, Lee Hwy @ N Quinn St, Lee Hwy @ Fort Myer Dr
NOTE: Buses will serve bus stops along Clarendon Blvd from N. Veitch to N. Pierce Street.
