28th Street South Complete Streets Project:
On the week of July 8, construction will start on the 28th Street South Complete Streets improvements project. Work will start at Site 3, at the intersection of 28th Street South and the southwest corner of Gunston Park and is expected to last about two weeks before moving to Site 2. The eastbound bus stop will close during construction, Reg ID 6000073; passengers should use the next stop 300 feet before this stop, Reg Id 6000077.
Columbia Pike Bus Stop Relocations

As part of the Columbia Pike transit stations construction project, the following bus stops on Columbia Pike will temporarily be relocated:
- Eastbound Columbia Pike at S. Four Mile Run Dr.
- Regional ID# 6001349
- Relocated 300 feet east to S. Wakefield St.
- Closed starting Friday, June 10 until further notice
- Affected routes: ART 41, Metrobus 16ACEGH
- Westbound Columbia Pike at S. Buchanan St.
- Regional ID# 6001298
- Relocated 200 feet west adjacent to the Bancroft Shopping Center
- Closed Monday, June 13 until further notice
- Affected routes: ART 41, Metrobus 16ACEGHY
- Westbound Columbia Pike at S. Oakland St.
- Regional ID# 6000223
- Relocated 100 feet west to 3803 Columbia Pike
- Closed Monday, June 13 until further notice
- Affected routes: ART 41, Metrobus 16ACEGHY
Signs will be posted at the bus stops to direct riders to the new temporary bus stop locations.
