28th Street South Complete Streets Project:
On the week of July 8, construction will start on the 28th Street South Complete Streets improvements project. Work will start at Site 3, at the intersection of 28th Street South and the southwest corner of Gunston Park and is expected to last about two weeks before moving to Site 2. The eastbound bus stop will close during construction, Reg ID 6000073; passengers should use the next stop 300 feet before this stop, Reg Id 6000077.
ART and STAR Holiday Service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
January 10, 2024
Arlington Transit will operate a holiday service on Monday, January 15, 2023, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
On Monday, January 16, ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55, 77 and 87 will operate Saturday schedules. All other ART routes will not operate. The ART Call Center will be closed. See below for the Saturday schedules.

The STAR Call Center will be closed on Monday, January 15, and all trips except for dialysis will be canceled. Please call before the holiday to request a trip for January 15 or the day after.
