ART 43, 45 and 55 Detours on October 22 for Marine Corps Marathon

On Sunday, October 22, the ART 43, 45 and 55 routes will be detoured due to the Marine Corps Marathon. The detours will last from the start of service for each route until 6:00 pm, unless otherwise noted. The ART 45 and 55 bus stops in Rosslyn will be relocated to N. Oak St., between Wilson and Key Blvds. The ART 43 Northbound bus stop in Rosslyn will not be served. See below for the detour for each route.

ART 43 Detour

Start of service until 6:00 pm
In Rosslyn, only the ART 43 Southbound bus stop, located at Wilson Blvd @ Fort Myer Dr, will be served during the detour. The ART 43 Northbound bus stop in Rosslyn will not be served.

ART 43 Southbound – Going from Courthouse to Crystal City
Buses begin detouring from Clarendon Blvd onto Fort Myer Dr. after the Wilson Blvd @ Fort Myer Dr bus stop in Rosslyn. The route continues on to Crystal City and will serve the Crystal City Metro and VRE bus stops.

ART 43 Northbound – Going from Crystal City to Courthouse
Buses begin detouring after the Crystal City VRE bus stop and will resume the regular route on Wilson Blvd at N Rhodes St in Rosslyn.

ART 45 Detour

Start of service until 6:00 pm
Due to race festivities, buses that stop at the Rosslyn Metro station, including ART 45, will be moved two blocks west to N Oak St, between Wilson and Key Blvds.

ART 45 Northbound – Going from Columbia Pike to Rosslyn Metro
Buses begin detouring on Clarendon Blvd in Rosslyn and will go to the temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located at N Oak St, between Wilson and Key Blvds.

ART 45 Southbound – Going from Rosslyn Metro to Columbia Pike
Buses begin detouring after the temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located at N Oak St, between Wilson and Key Blvds. The regular route resumes on Wilson Blvd at N Quinn St.

ART 55 Detours

Street closings in and around Rosslyn for race and post-race activities makes it necessary for ART 55 to have one detour from the start of service until 12:00 pm and a different detour from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm. See below for information on both detours.

All buses that stop at the Rosslyn Metro station, including ART 55, will be moved two blocks west to N Oak St, between Wilson and Key Blvds.

ART 55 Westbound – Going from Rosslyn to East Falls Church Metro
The route will start at the temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located at N Oak St, between Wilson and Key Blvds and then start the detour. All westbound bus stops on Lee Highway between the Rosslyn Metro station and N Quincy St will not be served. The regular route will resume on Lee Highway after N Quincy St.

ART 55 Eastbound – Going from East Falls Church Metro to Rosslyn
Buses begin detouring at Lee Highway and N Quincy Street. All eastbound bus stops on Lee Highway between N Quincy Street and the Rosslyn Metro station will not be served. The detour will go to the temporary Rosslyn Metro bus stop located at N Oak St, between Wilson and Key Blvds.
