ART 41, 42 and 51 Detours on May 19 for Girls on the Run 5K

ART 41, 42 and 51 will detour on Sunday, May 19, 2019, from 8:15 am to 10:15 am due to road closures for the Girls on the Run 5K.

During these times, there will be NO ART service at the following locations:

ART 41
Northbound to Courthouse

  • N Glebe Rd between Pershing Dr. & N Randolph St
  • N Randolph St
  • Wilson Blvd. between N. Randolph St and Washington Blvd.

Southbound to Columbia Pike

  • Wilson Blvd. between N. Barton St & N Randolph St
  • N Randolph St
  • N Glebe Rd between N. Randolph St & N. Pershing Dr.

 

ART 42
ART 42 will serve ART and Metrobus 4B stops along N. Glebe Rd and Pershing Dr at passenger’s request. Expect delays for departure at the Ballston Metro station.

Eastbound to Pentagon City

  • Wilson Blvd eastbound between N Quincy St and Washington Blvd.
  • Clarendon Blvd @ N Highland St
  • N Highland St 
  • Washington Blvd eastbound between N. Highland St and N Pershing Dr.

Westbound to Ballston

  • Washington Blvd westbound between N Pershing Dr and N. Highland St
  • N Highland St 
  • Wilson Blvd westbound between Washington Blvd and N. Randolph St.

ART 51
Expect delays for departure at the Ballston Metro station.

Eastbound to Ballston Metro

  • Fairfax Dr. between N. Glebe Rd and N. Stuart St

Westbound to Virginia Hospital Center

  • Fairfax Dr. between N. Stuart St. and N. Glebe Rd

 

PLEASE NOTE: From Friday, May 17, 7:30 pm to Sunday, May 19, 9:30 pm, additional ART 42, 72 and 75 detours will be in effect for Quarterfest at Ballston Quarter. For details, please refer to the Quarterfest service alert
