28th Street South Complete Streets Project:
On the week of July 8, construction will start on the 28th Street South Complete Streets improvements project. Work will start at Site 3, at the intersection of 28th Street South and the southwest corner of Gunston Park and is expected to last about two weeks before moving to Site 2. The eastbound bus stop will close during construction, Reg ID 6000073; passengers should use the next stop 300 feet before this stop, Reg Id 6000077.
ART 41, 42, 51 Sunday Detour for Girls on the Run 5K
May 18, 2017
Due to road closures for the Girls on the Run 5K, ART 41, 42, and 51 will detour on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the following times:
- 8:15am to 10:30am
During these times, there will be no ART service at the following locations:
- Wilson Blvd (eastbound and westbound) between Washington Blvd and N Randolph St
- Wilson Blvd (eastbound and westbound) between Ballston Metro and Washington Blvd.
- Eastbound buses will not stop at Clarendon Metro (Wilson & N Herndon) or N Highland & 11th Sts.
- Buses will not stop at Ballston Metro bus bay F, but will serve the shuttle bus stop at 9th & N Stuart Sts instead.
- Washington Blvd
- Eastbound buses will not stop at 9th St N and 7th St N
- Fairfax Dr (eastbound and westbound) between Ballston Metro and Glebe Rd
- Buses will not stop at Ballston Metro bus bay G, but will serve the shuttle bus stop at 9th & N Stuart St instead
