Possible ART Delays Starting July 16 Due to Pentagon Construction

July 12, 2018

Long-term construction work is being done at the Pentagon as part of the 395/Express Lanes project. The construction is expected to last until the end of 2018.

New traffic patterns will be in effect on South Eads Street starting Monday, July 16, which may cause significant delays for ART buses entering and exiting the Pentagon. ART rider alerts will be issued for delays on specific routes and trips.

Arlington County will work closely with the U.S. Department of Defense throughout the project to monitor conditions at and near the Pentagon.

For more information about the project, please visit www.395expresslanes.com/pentagon.
